What Is IoT Data Service?

The IoT data service is provided for 4G cameras and wireless security control panels in which Hikvision's IoT SIM cards are inserted. It allows you to connect IoT devices to the cellular network so that you can manage the devices with high flexibility. This IoT data solution, with no contracts, allows service cancellation at any time. We offer data-only service packages, as well as those with SMS & Calling on specific SIM cards.

How to Use SIM Card

To use the IoT data service, you need an IoT SIM card and follow the instructions below for configuration.

01 Get IoT SIM Card
You can get an IoT SIM card from your installer or distributor. (Some devices themselves include SIM cards.)
02 Insert SIM Card
Taking the AX HOME as an example, open the back cover, and insert the SIM card into the device's slot. (The position of the SIM card slot may vary depending on the specific model.)
03 Configure APN
Find IoT SIM Card No.
Get the corresponding APN according to the first 6 card digits.

How to Manage SIM Card
01 Enter the IoT SIM card No. to add it to Hik-Partner Pro.
02 View the info and status of all the managed SIM cards intuitively.
1. SIM card No. 2. Remaining data. 3. Expiry time of the IoT data service.
03 Link the card to the corresponding security control panel, etc.
04 More Functions
1. Suspend or resume IoT SIM cards. 2. Check SIM card carriers and signal strength.
